Fashionity Group Update, part 2

Hi all !

After thinking and re-thinking, exploring, discussing and also considering the problem related with SL 25 group limit, I have change my mind with my first decision to transfer Fashionity group to SL group.
So to make it short, Fashionity will stil stop using Subscrib-o-matic system by the mid of January BUT all will be move to Hippo Group System.
Hippo group system is, as Subscrib-o-matic, a group network that is not counting on SL group so all people who mentionned difficulties with SL group limit will be happy.
Also, Hippo group system offers many options not proposed by Subscib-o-matic. I will start use these options soon.

Important and starting now.

Open-enrollment with SL Fashionity Group has been closed. The ones who already join it can stay or leave it. I will perhaps need to remove them if business need it. Please don't be angry if that happen.
To continue to hear from Fashionity news and sales, every Fashionity member will need to join the new Fashionity Group Joiner (already set-up at Fashionity Main Shop). To thanks all who will make the move quick, a free Fashionity gift is given when applying at the main store.
I can also add you manually (just IM me your SL name and group requested) but unfortunately you will miss the gift.

One of the advantage to join this new Fashionity Hippo group system is I will be able to give you Fashionity Voucher to interact with hippo vendors in shop. I will use that for example for my new pre-release sales coming in a few days.
The rebates vendors actually in store will be updated soon to work with these vouchers, so it wil be the only way to benefit rebates or free Fashionity gift. So, wearing your SL group tag with these vendors will be useless.

I'm happy to announce a new Fashionity Collection called Tatiana.
Again an awesome mini-dress.
It seems as it's so cold in my RL location so I'm not able to wear such of cute outfit, my design creations only go to that kind of clothes. No problem, in SL I'm the weather maker ...

Four color versions available, Royal Blue, Wine Red, Soft Purple and Forest Green version.

Tatiana is synonym of sexy and innocent, that's so contrasting ...
I've try to compose with this feelings while creating this outfit. Including a nice, cute and (very) short mini-dress, the outfit colors contast with a tiny (and innocent ?) prim belt.

Saint Patrick Hunt with Fashionity

Katlene Niven Agency in partnership with Kaizen Retailers, Inc. have initated a very different hunt. A special garden has been built for this event.
As other hunts, you will have to find an object with a special gift but hide the Shamrock at the special area.
The hunt will run for 10 days from March 8 to March 17.
Reach the Kissena Park, find the Fashionity St Pat's gift and enjoy the hunt !

Hunt Directions :
Are you ready for the next hunt? Well the GL St. Pat's Hunt is about to start. The hunt will run from 12 am 3/8/09 to 11:59 pm 3/17/09. Since this is a one stop hunt vendors have set up booths for your shopping pleasure so make a quick stop at the ATM before heading over to the hunt. To make this a successful hunt here are some helpful tips.
1.) Once you land take a few steps forward. Please don't linger in the landing area so others can land.
2.) De-prim. Take off your shoes and run barefoot through the grass. Try not to wear prim clothing this will help reduce lag.
3.) Detach all AO's and HUDs. Reminisce about your early days in SL when you did the duck walk and had no clue what an AO was.
4.) Once done hunting and shopping go back to the Twisted Hunt or go unpack and let someone else come to the hunt.
5.) Get a good laugh at the numbering. Some boxes say there are 118 boxes to find and others 120 for you to find. Well there is actualy 121 boxes in total.
6.) Do not litter. There is no need to unpack the boxes here to get a lm to the next stop. There is no other stop other than going to the vendors main store. If you see something you like make sure to check out the vendors main store to see the wha else they might have.
7.) Above all else have fun.

Then, send me picture(s) of you in Fashionity outfit (no freebies or Dollarbies) by the 25th of this month and the Fashionity staff and I will pick the one that can enter the Fashionity Model of the Month Contest.
You can send me many picts as you want but all must be with 512x512 picture resolution. Lower resolution picture will be automatically refused for the contest.
All the pictures must be full perms ( mod/copy/transfer), named with your name (Saku Koltai - picture 1) and sent in a folder renamed with your name following with "Fashionity Model Contest" (Saku Koltai - Fashionity Model Contest).
This contest is opened only for girl. All the pict received after 25th of the month will be refused.

A Winter Fairy Tale

We are proud to present a Charity Event on the Vanity Universe Sim
” A Winter Fairy Tale ” .

The opening is on December 6th, 2008 at 11 am SLT. The theme of the expo is inspired by the fairy tale “The Snow Queen” (Hans Christian Andersen)

Donations for the aid organization “Care” will be collected during this event.

“Care” is an international aid organization founded to relieve the distress and poverty worldwide,
regardless of any political tendencies, religion or ethnicity.
“Care” is currently seeking donations needed urgently in order to help those suffering
hunger in Africa, because their situation has worsened dramatically due to the current
worldwide economic crisis. It is my intention that the funds collected here will be
used primarily for children projects.

50 % of the rental revenues will be donated to Care,as well as the designer items sold via the ” Care vendors ” .Some designers specially -designed dresses for the fair which are only available here- In addition, we have also donation boxes for a care donation positioned.

More than 70 international designerswill take an active part at this event.
They will be presenting their latest fashion and style:
Collections, such as brand new designs for men and women casual fashion, party fashion, formal wear and jewellery.

Besides the ‘big players’ we managed to attract many smaller designers as well.
As there are some promising newcomers which will definitely be worth to visit this event.

I have decided to work again on my Intimates Collection, mainly on my already-made bras. I needed more colors ... So, first of all, here is my Cherry Bra, at first only released in red, but now available in many others colors (blue, purple, pink, black, white and green). Fashion Fundraiser for Fido

Woof Woof be a part of an awesome event to help raise money for homeless dogs while buying awesome creations for your av. On March 6th the auction will begin for some ONE of a kind designs and special creations! We have items being auctioned off from Hexed, Neko Gear, Fashionity Fantasy, Fickle Fee and AW Design, Ingenue, Inspire, Draconic Kiss, Spirit, Fuel, Lapgirl, Malinconia, Sh*t Happens, Ravenation, Geometrica Design, Szentasha Designs, and two one of a kind sets from Ravenwear one for him and one for her! Cute shoes from Fuel and Maitreya. There will also be skins by Unpredictable and Skin Within. Some awesome hair for auction by Mau's and Mej's and Gurl6! And last but certainly not least adorable animals by Zooby!! The Fashion show featuring these awesome items will take place on March 9th at 12 Noon SLT at Ravens Requiem. Here is my outfit specially made for the Fido fundraiser.
I was thinking of a "doggy" inspiration for a ballroom gown and then i decided to make this Laïka dress in black as a tribute to the Russian space female dog which became the first recorded living creature from Earth to enter orbit. She was selected to be the occupant of the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2 and was launched into space on November 3, 1957.
This dress can be considered as a pre-release of a new dress collection but the name and the "doggy" pattern will be only available with this Laika dress and will not be released elsewhere. So the bidding winner will have the only relased copy of that dress and texture pattern.
